Learning Objectives:
  1. To review the functional anatomy of the cervical, thoracic, lumbar spine and pelvis.
  2. To understand an osteopathic biomechanical model for normal and dysfunctional motion of the spine and pelvis.
  3. To be able to evaluate and identify specific somatic dysfunction in the spine and pelvis using both positional and passive mobility testing.
  4. To use muscle energy techniques in the treatment of the spine and pelvis.
  5. To learn to look for common patterns of spine and pelvis dysfunction and relate that to patient’s clinical presentation.
  6. To understand and learn therapeutic exercises to complement manual therapy treatment.
